Stainless Steel 446 Sheet and Plates is a high chromium, ferritic alloy, known for excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance, especially in high temperature environments Its composition is usually 24-26% chromium, 0.20% carbon, 1.00% manganese , small amounts of silicon, sulfur and phosphorus. Mechanical properties include tensile strength of 480-620 MPa, yield strength of 250-450 MPa, and hardness of 160-220 HB. This alloy exhibits excellent thermal stability and scaling resistance, making it ideal for applications in furnace applications, heat exchangers, and other high-temperature environments.
