Stainless Steel 304H Sheets and Plates are made up of 18–20% chromium and 8–10% nickel, featuring a slightly elevated carbon content (0.04–0.10%) compared to standard 304. This unique blend boosts high-temperature strength while ensuring excellent resistance to corrosion. With a density of about 8.0 g/cm³, a tensile strength ranging from 515–750 MPa, and a yield strength of 205–310 MPa, it boasts an elongation of around 40% and retains toughness even at higher temperatures. 304H is particularly resistant to oxidation and scaling, making it ideal for applications that involve prolonged exposure to high heat, all while offering good formability and weldability.
