Aluminium 7050 Circles are primarily made of aluminium, with zinc (5.7–6.7%), magnesium (1.9–2.6%), and copper (2.0–2.6%) as the key alloying elements. This high-strength, heat-treatable alloy is known for its outstanding mechanical performance. It boasts a tensile strength of around 460–570 MPa and a yield strength of 370–500 MPa, depending on the temper (like T7451, T7651). The alloy also shows excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and good fracture toughness. While it may be less formable than softer grades, Aluminium 7050 remains stable and strong in extreme conditions, making it perfect for high-performance structural applications.
