Aluminium 1070 Circles are made up of at least 99.7% pure aluminium, with just a few trace elements of iron, silicon, copper, manganese, and zinc. This high level of purity translates to outstanding electrical and thermal conductivity, typically around 61% IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard). In terms of mechanical properties, they have a relatively low tensile strength of about 55–110 MPa and a yield strength ranging from 35–55 MPa, depending on the temper. With high ductility and an elongation of up to 30%, they are easy to form and machine. While they may not be as strong as some alloys, their exceptional conductivity and corrosion resistance make them incredibly valuable.
